Pj Harvey - Down by the water
I first heard this tune while watching the basketball diaries years ago, the bit where they get freaky with pinky and blinky. Great movie, great fucking tune.

I was fairly old when i was turned onto the clash. My parents didn't have a great record collection like some cool kids, unless your into mick flavin and charly pride? This was the first clash song i fell in love with and the rest quickly followed.

Ultramagnetic Mc's - Give the drummer some
Great old skool hip hop, famously sampled by prodigy a few years back.

One of the lesser known tracks on what is probably a strong contender for greatest irish album of all time.
Clinic - The Second Line
Probably the best thing to come out of liverpool since that other four piece, what were they called? oh yeah, the La's.

The Wrens - Hopeless
Saw these guys in whelans a few years back and its still one of the best shows i've seen in there. This is taken off their brilliant 2003 album 'the meadowlands'. Check it out if you haven't heard it.

Good morning, just posting a few tunes i've been listening to quite a bit lately. Depeche modes stripped from 1986's black celebration still sounds so polished and before its time even now, hopefully dave manages to hold it together until december. Next up is santogold's lights out, i just really like this tune, it also makes me think of the dancing man at sasquatch. Which can only be a good thing. Last but not least for today is the horrors sea within a sea, so many different influences can be heard on this record its hard to name them all, but nonetheless a brilliant hypnotic beast of a tune, enjoy, tristan
